As if moving on isn't hard enough Especially during the holidays). Finding out that your ex is in a new relationship just plain old sucks for a number of reasons.

For one it feels like you just lost a game. Not that everyone is looking to get into a relationship right after a break-up, but it makes you feel like your ex moved on that much faster than you did. 

Regardless of what the new girl looks like remember this mantra: "she is fatter and uglier than you". It's a fact. She's dumber and not as funny as you; a mere shadow of your amazingness. The only way to deal is to simply kill her with kindness. It will drive your ex insane.
