Tebow's Prayers Go Unanswered In Sunday's Game Against The Patriots

For the last month and a half all everyone has heard about is how special this new kid Tim Tebow is. From his unorthodox throwing style, to his side-line prays Tim Tebow has been sweeping the nation, both online and offline. Until yesterday's game against the New England Patriots Tim Tebow was the Second Coming to Broncos fans.

The Patriots were playing at near perfect yesterday at Mile High. Throw out the first quarter and all of the gears were in motion Sunday. For the first time all season the win started with the defense. Surprising I know. The defense did all they could do to try and contain the Broncos and Tebow who were quite literally running all over the Pats. They picked up 167 rushing yards in the first 15 minutes including two touchdowns.

At the start of the second quarter, Brady and company were down 16-7 and things were looking to fall apart. It was at that point when things turned into perfection for the Patriots. Switching back to their 3-4 defense which has been their charm all season long, they forced three turnovers. The offense lead by Tom Brady capitalized on all three turnovers and picked up 13 points.

Heading into the locker room at half time, the Patriots were 27-16 but with late game comebacks being the Broncos thing, this lead didn't seem daunting.

Brady wouldn't let up on offense, not for one second, he just squeezed his grip tighter and put points on the board.

Tebow had yet another rushing touchdown but it wouldn't be enough as the Patriots closed out the game with a dominating 41-23 division-clinching victory.
