The first debate held since Herman Cain ended his 2012 Presidential run was an entertaining and somewhat informational (besides the fact that all debates now are going to reiterate the same issues). Six contestants participated, but Huntsman did not meet the polling requirements to participate. Too bad, so sad. Saturday’s debate left Mitt Romney’s pockets full but many supporting seats empty.
During the Iowa Republican debate Saturday, Romney made a wager heard round’ the states while leaving him, “Out of touch.” Romney and Perry once again bickered back and forth like they always do, but only this time to raise the stakes in a $10,000 bet! Let’s just say Iowa is not too proud.

The Bet?
The $10,000 bet was over a health insurance mandate described in one of Romney’s books. Perry claims to have read Romney’s book and felt that the mandate (in Massachusetts) described was flip-floppy on what Romney currently describes in his mandates, Individual mandates.
Trying to defend his case, Romney extended his hand in hopes of an agreement shake on who was right. Perry followed with, “im not in the betting business, but I’ll show you the book.”
What Did The Book Say?
It clearly stated that Romney supports IDIVIDUAL mandates, while in the second version he takes the support of this out of his book completely.
“We can accomplish the same thing for everyone in this country, and it can be done without letting government take over health care.”
~Excerpt from Romney’s book, “No Apologies”
Remember Perry’s Campaign Ad Video?
Perry’s latest (last hope) campaign video is getting a lot of attention and not exactly in a great way. His newest ad claiming that there is something wrong with this nation when gays can serve in the military, but children cannot openly pray in schools…
Well, Jesus has something to say about that!
