Schools are closed all over Ohio today thanks to a bunch of animals on the loose.
Dozens of wild animals including brown and black bears, lions, tigers and more were released from their cages last night. Their owner,Terry Thompson, was found dead at the scene under suspicious circumstances. Thompson was just released from prison days ago after serving a one-year sentence. Police are refusing to say how he died. In 2005 Thompson was also arrested in 2005 under animal abuse charges.
The cops are now running around shooting to kill all the animals.

-They are shooting these... but bigger...
According to the Ohio Dispatch, "Late last night, Lutz said deputies had killed at least 25 animals, and the sheriff’s office had cordoned off about 5 to 7 square miles in the county. The deputies were being assisted by the State Highway Patrol, authorities from the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and the Wilds, the state Division of Wildlife, the county Emergency Management Agency and township fire departments."
There is now a plan in place to bring in a helicopter with infrared to locate the rest of the animals.
Seems kind of sad that these animals escaped their animal hell, only to be shot by the police. Maybe they could bring in Ron Swanson and he can just fist fight the bears and then drag them back to their cages or something.

Why and how did this guy have so many animals? And who keeps a lion as a pet? Seriously.
