What I really mean is: how big is your vocabulary? Ever wondered how many words you know? Well now you can have an estimate to either brag about or shamefully not share.

With the website Test Your Vocabulary you just check off the words you know at least one definition for and it will give you an estimation of the expanse of your vocabulary. The tricky part is not checking off words you recognize but could not actually give a definition for. It starts off simple with words like "like," but don't get cocky because the word "tenebrous" could hit you later.

Apparently I know 20,800 words, which might sound pretty fancy except the person I discovered this test through knew 30,400 words. So I didn't feel that great anymore.

So Sumos, what's your number? Will you be using the line "Well I know _____ words so in your face!" to win every argument from now on? Or will you be taking the dictionary with you into the bathroom every day?
