Along with every other Bruins fan that ventured into the city last night, I was lucky enough to participate in the insanity that ensued after the buzzer signaled the end of game 7. Once the game ended, I continued to chug the rest of my beer, wipe the tears of victory from my eyes, and take to the streets.

What I didn’t get to see were the Bruins players’ celebrations in the Vancouver rink with their family and loved ones. So naturally, I’ve spent all morning (at work) trolling the internet to catch up on those celebrations. As I was clicking through the video montages, multitude of celebratory pictures and joyous articles recapping the past Bruins season, I stumbled upon this picture:

Its no secret that I am extremely obsessed with Milan Lucic. While he had his ups and downs throughout the playoffs, I can’t seem to shake my love for him. Therefore, it goes without saying that seeing this picture with his b-e-a-utiful girlfriend crushed my dreams of marrying him.

Now I don’t blame him for copping a fine ass Barbie-looking blonde to wear as arm candy, but really Looch? I would say you ruined my celebratory mood, but that’s nowhere close to possible at the moment. A bird could shit on my head and I could care less because the Bruins won the Stanley Cup so all is right in the world. All I’m saying is this picture with Lucic and his hot girlfriend maybe crushed my heart a teensy bit.

I guess I could settle for being his woman on the side, if his current girlfriend isn’t going anywhere any time soon. Maybe I’ll have to move on to my other Bruins crush, Brad Marshy Marsh. Hopefully he’s single and looking for a good time. image: bostonglobe.com
