So you think you’re in shape? Prove it. These summer time extreme challenges will push every muscle in your body to the limit. But I can promise you, crossing the finish line, or reaching the end of a program makes it well worth it. Get ready for the craziest day of your life at the Warrior Dash, in Amesbury MA, a 5K through swamps, over fire, up rope ladders and under barbed wire. June 25th or 26th will be the most hard-core day of your life. There’s water and bananas provided for free through out the race. But, the best part is each competitor gets a free beer ticket! Starting 30 minutes before the first wave of dashers, there’s beer and food available for purchase, and live bands playing all the way ‘til three hours after the start of the final wave. The waves of dashers go from 8am to 6:30pm on Saturday and 10am to 3pm on Sunday. The Warrior Dash not extreme enough for you?? Add onto that course at the Hoppin’ Mad Mud Run on May 22nd at 11am. This is a 10K on road and off road run with hills, tire obstacles, 5-foot walls, hay bails, and the final mud pit. This is similar to the Warrior Dash, but a little more ballsy with a little more than 6 miles added on! Registration is $50 per person with music, plenty of food, drinks, Ipswich Ale and Cody Brewery sponsoring the event, there’ll be no lack of relaxation following the event. Do it. You won’t. Ladies, want to stay in close to home but get the fitness training of Biggest Loser? Well let your sculpting dreams be answered! Boston Adventure Boot Camp for Women is a four-week outdoor program of fitness instruction, nutritional counseling and motivational training. All lead by a hottie trainer who’ll inspire you to get up at the butt-crack of dawn to begin your work out at 5:30am at The Sprague Elementary School Field, 401 School St. in Wellesley every Monday through Friday. They claim, nobody will be left behind or be asked to do more than they physically are able, but it doesn’t mean you won’t be challenged!
