SUMOskinny magazine is the ultimate guide to college life. Part local, part national, and all college.
I’m going to state the obvious: Female undergarments are, more often than not, ridiculous and uncomfortable. Bras and panties seem more like contraptions with all the straps, clasps, strings, padding, push-ups and suck-me-ins and less like comfy intimate apparel. Women go to extreme measures to make sure they’re looking good, especially when wearing less.
Let’s face it ladies, we’ve all had that moment of panic when picking our outfit for the night. You try on a shirt only to realize the plunging neckline or bare back reveals far too much of your bra. Then you have to struggle between taking a risk and going bra-less, opting for stick-on bra cups, or just letting your bra hang out in the open.
In addition to bra issues, women also have concern about VPLs (visible panty lines). Depending on whether we choose a low-rise pair of jeans, a short skirt or a pair of tight yoga pants, our undies have to accommodate the type of coverage, or lack-thereof, that we need.
For women looking to find the most minimal style of panties available, I introduce you to C-String. This undergarment is a strapless panty, which may also be worn as a bathing suit bottom. The website describes the C-String as, “a completely new and exciting innovation in lingerie. Say goodbye to panty line and uncomfortable straps. Say hello to a sexy new freedom.” C-String is recommended for wear under dresses, skirts or jeans or alone as a bathing suit.
For $24, you can have your very own vagina headband. To purchase these bottoms, head over to their website, or one of their store locations in Arizona, California, and Oregon.
My question about the C-String is wondering how it stays on. Without the conventional panty strings to keep it in place, I can imagine these suckers have potential to create a morbidly embarrassing moment. Let say you’re walking along, wearing the C-String under your cute skirt and whoopsieee, avant-garde panties are now rolling around on the ground. I can’t imagine these undies are even slightly comfortable either.
Personally, I’d rather not depend on a modified headband to cover my lady parts, but that’s just my opinion.
