Another big win for the Cal Golden Bears Saturday against Pac-12 rival Oregon State.

With back to back wins the Bears are on a streak of good fortune, and the big 23 - 6 win against the Beavers will put them in good standings for the final few games of the season.
There were two big factors to Saturdays game at AT&T Park. One was the Cal defense. They limited the Oregon State rushing to just 27 total yards and held the Beavers to just two first half field goals. The uprights would be the only points the Beavers saw all game as the defensive line was too strong for the red-zone completions.
The other major factor was running back Isi Sofele. Sofele racked up 190 yards in total with 23 carries. His long for the game was a 52 yard run plus a 20 yard touchdown.
Quarterback Zach Maynard was responsible for the other two touchdowns, completing a 19-yard touchdown to Michael Calvin and rushing for a 5-yard touchdown.
The Golden Bears have two huge games remaining this season as next week they face #4 Stanford, followed by unranked Arizona State.
